In China, getting married is more than just a celebration of matrimonial union. It’s an opportunity to drink to excess, socialise, network, and become famous for a day. In Shanghai, the bride and groom take the obligatory wedding pictures on the Bund. Like movie stars they are pursued by a posse of photographers and videographers. Tourists look on, open mouthed, at this garsish display of rude glamour.
I photographed this with a 90mm tilt-shift lens, Very little processing required. No cropping, a slight nudge on Contrast and noise reduction, nothing more.
