The Don River Valley, Toronto in the bleak mid-winter. Beautiful scenery, and skies with colours not on any artist’s palate. The snow looks picturesque but it is brutally cold. At minus 15 degrees, I expect some camera problems, but the Canon 5D2 and 17mm tilt-shift lens are not affected by the cold (unlike the frozen photographer). Processing for this photograph: manual desaturation in Silver Efex Pro, and noise reduction.
