City Of Light

I took this photograph with a 90mm tilt-shift lens, using the Shift function to capture three separate images: one for the top, one for the middle and one for the lower portion, and stitched them together in Photoshop. The one advantage of stitching shots with a tilt-shift lens is that there is no “waste” when combining the pictures, because there is no geometric distortion: you keep all the information from all three pictures. Processing is a simple affair – a small contrast boost using Curves, noise reduction and some selective sharpening.
